Wacky World was recently awarded an Emmy for outstanding achievement in arts and entertainment by the Southeastern Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for a thirteen episode reality show tracking their work frin design through installation and use.
Mr.Barry and Wacky World are involved in many charitable activitys. Bruce donates a considerable amount of time and talent to Give Kids a World in Orland, Make a Wish Foundation, MDA and A Kid's Place, to name just a few. As a child he was afflicted by a rheumatic fever and spent years recovering in a hospital supported by Tuxter Seals. This experience founded his calling to bring joy and give to other. Bruce inherited his creativity from his mother, an off Broadway actress, and his multi-talended Father Dick, who played Clarabelle the Clown on the Howdy Doody Show."
